Christina Villamarzo is our New Vice President and Maria Teresa Fernandez is our new Corresponding Secretary for this 2011-2012 Term

- Treasurer Report: $X (call) on deposit and $x(call) on petty cash
- Audit will take place next week (8/29-9/3). Audit Committee: Christina Villamarzo and Maria Eugenia Padilla
- There was a $x (call) charitable donation

- Garage Sale: Marcia Perez/ Fiorella Parasi
This event will take place on October 8th. It will be from 8am to 2pm. We need to be present at 7am. There are 45 spaces to be distributed. The GSCCW will take 4 spaces. Until today (8/23/11) there are still 28 spaces available at $25.00 and no spaces available at $30.00.
Maria Eugenia Padilla will place an ad on the Church Bulletin two weeks prior to the Garage sale announcing the spaces available, and one week prior announcing the Garage Sale. The Flyer will be emailed to Deacon Santos Rodriguez to be placed inside the church Bulletin.
Marcia Perez will talk to sue Ruffin to announce the Garage Sale during Mass. Members will be announcing the Garage sale at the end of each Mass.
- School Supplies Drive: Christina Villamarzo
This event will take place during August and September. We will ask the whole community to donate school supplies. The charity receiving the supplies will be The Holy Childhood Association in Miami.
- By Laws Change: Both Approved by Majority
(1) To change the General Meeting Date from the Third Monday of the Month to the Third Tuesday of the Month. (19 votes in favor and 1 vote abstained)
(2) Set a 10% aside profit of each event to sponsor expenses for the president and all members to the annual MACCW Convention in May. (14 votes in favor and 6 votes against)
- Claudia Rodriguez’s Farewell Party
This Farewell Party will be at Two Brothers Restaurant. It will cost $x(call) per person. Each member wanting to attend will paid the $x(call) to the GSCCW. It will be on September 11 at 12:30pm. The cost of Claudia’s present (Lady of Good Council), Claudia’s attendance and dessert for all members will be covered by the GSCCW. An invitation will also be send to Fr. Arias (Our Spiritual Leader).
- Living Rosary: Maria Eugenia Padilla/ Fabiola de Armas
This event has the approval of our Spiritual Leader. It will take place at the Church on October 14th at 6:30pm. The whole community will participate.
Open Floor:
- Chastity Day at Good Shepherd: Maritza Ascorbe
This project is new and will be organized with the help of Ana Portella from Saint Thomas. All members will participate, especially new members. Special meeting dates will be set for this event.
- A check for the amount of $x(call) (wine cost for father Jorge’s farewell party) will be given to Herlinda Rodriguez upon receipt submission.
- Annette Gordo will take over Cilia Rodriguez work on Saint Vincent of Paul Pantry donation because of health issues.
